Though I am someone who is very much happy with my personal style, there have often been times where I find myself a little restricted due to my own lack of exploration beyond the usual brands that I shop from. AllSaints, The Kooples, P&Co, Selected Homme, Cheap Monday, ASOS, and River Island make up at least 95% of my wardrobe, and whilst it is no bad thing to know what you like, and where you like to shop, it can begin to feel limiting, and so, I promised myself at the turn of the New Year that I would seek out some new spots to spend the little money that I have. Now, that’s not to say that the brands I’ve discovered (and thus included in this post) will be new to you – in fact, they may be rather well-known to all but myself. However, these four brands did catch my eye as they are well-suited to my current style, and I genuinely had never heard of any of them prior to 2017. In the post, I’ve included a few of my favourite pieces from each, mainly to give you guys a glimpse at the kind of clothing they produce, but also to bookmark them for future reference (i.e when my student loan comes in).
I’m hopeful that a lot of this (or just a little) will pique your interest as much as it did mine, and that I’ll have introduced at least one new brand to at least a few of you. If not, I apologise, but maybe you can introduce me to some other brands that you think I might like? Leave a comment if you’re aware of anything similar, I’d love to know. Cheers.
