Ah the red brick wall. I’ve missed it, no doubt you’ve missed it too. Unfortunately, this genuinely will be the last time either of us will be seeing it for a while; no more home trips until Christmas. I promise, however, to do my best to get some outfit shots taken in York – a change in scenery might be quite nice… six months of brick does get a little old.
For the farewell photos, I thought I’d style one of my favourite smart-casual looks; a black long-sleeve t-shirt tucked into black skinnies (I was cold), sat beneath another effortlessly cool patterned viscose shirt by AllSaints. A sharp but slight throw of colour can often bring life to an otherwise bland outfit, and whilst I love a classic black on black combination, my t-shirt and jeans needed a flash of patent red leather to break the black up a little. I finished the look with burgundy leather Chelsea boots by Selected Homme, and my beloved black/gold Giorgio Milano watch, each of which can smarten up even the most relaxed outfits. Then, as if to undo all the smartening up, I threw on a load of skull rings. Go figure.
Hope you enjoy the photos. Me and my wall have had a good run.
