#13. KOOPLES OOTD – PART 2

For today’s outfit post, I thought I’d showcase the second of my recent shirt buys from The Kooples. I might actually love this shirt more than the previous one – it’s a dark-denim piece studded with little silver skulls at the cuffs, buttons and on the collar. For anyone who knows me, this will sound like my ideal item of clothing, and after complementing the shirt by coupling it with the studded black leather shoes I bought on ASOS a while ago, I created a look that’s up there in my top 5, without doubt. Beneath the shirt, I wore a washout tee in flint to contrast the darker shade of the denim. As a rule, when picking jeans to go with the denim on the top half of my outfits, I always go with a darker shade – so if you’re wearing an arctic-blue denim shirt, then anything darker below will work, but if you’ve opted for a jet-black denim jacket, then black is your best bet for the jeans too. To dress up the look, I wore my black leather-strap watch by Giorgio Milano (you could reverse this to make the look more casual and pick a chunky leather bracelet instead).
