For today’s outfit of the day post, I unashamedly have retaken shots of the look featuring my new formal shirt from The Kooples. I wasn’t too keen on the original photo which I posted on Instagram a couple of weeks ago, so here’s the outfit again with some (hopefully) better photography, and a couple of close-ups. The shirt is, of course, the standout piece for me in this look, with the McQueen-esque embroidered pattern having been cut on Savile Row (as the label informed me). I tucked the shirt into my smoke-grey AllSaints jeans to keep the look smart, and toned down the formality by rolling up the sleeves. The jeans worked well paired with black leather brogues by River Island, and the addition of a few rings from The Great Frog and eBay gave the look somewhat of a pirate-like aura, more Jack Rackham than Jack Sparrow – or so I think, I could be dead wrong and just look a bit silly.

  • Shirt – The Kooples
  • Jeans – AllSaints
  • Boots – River Island
  • Belt – ASOS
  • Rings – The Great Frog + eBay

Here are the shots, hope you like them, and don’t forget to follow/subscribe by email to the site:
